Das Café is a charming, unconventional café with a long history. The basic idea behind the restaurant was to combine a furniture flea market with a café and thereby create an ever-renewing experience for all visitors. This experiment was a success, and up until today it is still a café and furniture store at the same time. But enough with the history lesson.

What makes “das Cafè” a good study café? In addition to generously distributed power sockets and fast WiFi, the furniture also offers an extremely pleasant atmosphere, which is beneficial both for productivity and for cozy get-togethers. Of course, the cuisine is not neglected either: with breakfast (buffet on the weekend), sweet delicacies and specialties that change every week, your wellbeing is taken care of from sunrise to sunset.

If you need a well-deserved break after a long, hard day of studying, “das Café” is also the right address for you. With a comprehensive wine and beer menu, as well as numerous events, fun evenings are guaranteed!

Opening hours: Monday to Sunday: 1:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Phone: +43 1 913 8728

The werkzeugH is more of a student club than a study café, but do not let that fool you! The cozy atmosphere is perfect for an extended afternoon of studying. Free WiFi and a large number of power sockets are of course also included here. For the hungry ones, there is a daily changing selection of snacks and dishes; for fresh air fanatics there is a cozy inner courtyard with plenty of seating available.

Phil

Opening hours: Monday: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Tuesday to Sunday: 9:00 am – 11:00 pm

You wanted to study in the library, but couldn’t get a place? Then you will find your happiness at the Phil! This café is a real all-rounder, as it is a book and furniture store as well as a restaurant. Above all, the calm character of a bookstore creates a relaxed and productive atmosphere, which is really beneficial to studying. You can work alone or in groups – undisturbed on whatever is pending. Snacks, food and various drinks are also available to give your brain the fuel it needs. One of the best things about Phil: If you fall in love with your armchair or other furniture during a day of studying, you can just take it with you!
