  • Medical University of Graz (Leopold Auenbrugger University): At the MedUni Graz, you can pursue diploma programs in human medicine and dentistry or specialised training in intensive care or diabetes care. Moreover, it’s the only university in Austria offering a Master’s program in Medical Simulation.

If you want to find a cosy place in Graz without breaking the bank, you can apply for housing assistance. But remember, in order to be considered, your apartment in Graz has to be your primary residence. The amount you receive depends on factors like apartment size, the number of roommates, and your and your parents’ income. It is essential to submit all required documents to maximise your eligibility.

To qualify for a student grant, you also have to meet specific criteria. This includes demonstrating financial need and requiring this support to continue your studies. Additionally, you also have to show that you’re making satisfactory academic progress. Plus, you should have started your studies before turning 33. This support is designed to help young individuals kickstart their educational journey without financial worries.

While it is easy to get around Graz by bike or on foot, you might want to hop on public transport for convenience sometimes – which can be costly. However, thanks to the Steiermark Lines network, students up to 26 years old can easily apply for the Top-Ticket at €179 per semester (including holidays).
