STUWO AG opened the new student residence in the “tpv Technologiepark Villach” at the beginning of the academic year 2012/13. The complex, comprising two modern low-energy houses, is located at the campus in three minutes’ walking distance from the University of Applied Sciences Villach. With 110 places (single rooms in two-room apartments) the STUWO residence at Villach offers accommodations of the highest quality. These fully furnished apartment units – each with an integrated kitchenette and private bathroom/toilet – can be used as a small flat if needed. Parking spaces can be rented directly in front of the residence. Thus, inexpensive and comfortable parking is no problem. A sauna and a gym, a direct connection to the river Drau cycling route and a small lake (“Silbersee”) at a distance of 2.5 kilometers will certainly appeal to sports fans among the students.
With summer 2013 we will offer certain apartments at our student's hostel as vacation rental at this beautiful Austrian vacation area. More information on Ferienwohnungen Villach.

Location and Surroundings

The campus is located at the centre of the “tpv Technologiepark Villach” close to the river Drau at the southern outskirts of Villach. The area is connected to the public transport system of the city of Villach (bus routes 3 and 30 - a bus from the central train station to the campus runs approx. every 40 minutes). The bus schedules correspond to the schedules of the Austrian federal railways. The city centre is 4.5 km away from the student residence and can be reached by bike within 15 minutes.
Villach is an international transportation hub, where the main traffic routes of the country intersect. The campus within the “tpv Technologiepark Villach” is linked with the highway A2, exit Faaker See, and can be reached directly after entering Villach. Via the Villach City Air Terminal you can reach the airport of the Carinthian capital Klagenfurt in 35 minutes and the airport of the Slovenian capital Ljubljana in 50 minutes.

PLEASE NOTE! If booking via an agency or organisation (for example OeAD-WohnraumverwaltungsGmbH) or if closing a short term contract prices may differ!
Individual telephone charges and the expenses for the laundry machines have to be paid separately. The rooms are allocated by STUWO and applicants are not entitled to a specific room. Interest accured on deposits will be credited to the account of the students’ representation.
A non-recurring administration fee of EUR 90,-- has to be paid upon signing the contract.
Deposit: EUR 700,-- (maximal the amount of the double usage fee incl. VAT)
Final cleaning fee: EUR 89,-- (incl. VAT) - will be deducted from the mandatory deposit fee when moving out
You can ask for reduction of deposit to EURO 300,-- (incl. VAT) for second and further siblings to STUWO-residents!
